Werewolf cinema is probably my favorite horror subgenre and “An American Werewolf in London” stands head and shoulders above the rest as far as I’m concerned.
“Re-Animator” is a truly perfect example of a horror-comedy.
If perfect films exist, “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” may very well be one.
“Random Acts of Violence” is in some ways exactly the horror movie I thought it’d be. It’s also the opposite of what I expected in just as many ways.
“Zodiac” is David Fincher’s magnum opus and a film that is long overdue for a reappraisal.
